Licence Terms
1. What this covers
These Licence Terms govern your use of MAK EDGE LAB software once you have it. How you buy it is covered by the Terms of Sale; the site itself is covered by the Terms of Use. The licensor is MAK EDGE LAB, whose full identification and address details are in the Legal Notice.
2. What you get
A licence to install and use the software, issued to one customer for their own trading. With it you receive the software download, this licence, and access to support.
You are licensed to use the software. You do not buy the software, its source code or any right in it beyond what is written here.
3. Your licence
A licence is issued to one customer, for their own trading, and it is perpetual — there is no renewal and no expiry.
It is not transferable to another person, and it is not for sharing. Activation details are provided at purchase.
If a licence needs to be reissued for any ordinary reason, support handles it for you. Write to support@makedgelab.com. There is no charge.
We may decline where the pattern of requests suggests the licence is being shared rather than used by one person. If we decline, we will say why.
4. More than one licence
If you need more than one licence — for a second trader, or for a team — ask us and we will tell you the current terms.
5. What you may not do
- Resell, rent, sublicense, lend, share or give away the software or your licence.
- Publish, redistribute or upload it anywhere, including private groups.
- Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, or work around the licensing itself.
- Remove or alter any notice of ownership inside it.
- Use it to build a competing product, or to provide a signal or advisory service to others.
Where the law of your country gives you a right that cannot be excluded — for example to obtain interoperability information — that right stands and this section does not limit it.
6. Updates
Fixes and improvements to the version you bought are included for as long as we maintain it, at no extra cost.
A future major version, or a new tool, may be a separate purchase. We will say so clearly rather than moving the line quietly, and we will not disable a working version to push you onto a new one.
7. Support
Support is by email at support@makedgelab.com, normally answered within 48 business hours (Monday to Friday). It covers installation, licensing, and the behaviour of the software.
It does not cover advice on how to trade, what to trade, or whether to take a position. That is not a service we offer at any price — see the Risk Disclosure.
8. How long the licence lasts
Your licence is perpetual: it is a one-off purchase, it does not expire and there is nothing to renew. NinjaTrader 8 itself, your data feed and your broker are separate arrangements of yours, and this licence does not depend on any of them beyond needing NinjaTrader 8 to run at all.
9. Ending the licence
We may suspend or end a licence if it is being shared, resold or tampered with, or if these terms are breached in a way that is not put right after we ask.
We will contact you first and give you a chance to explain, unless the breach is deliberate redistribution. If we end a licence for a breach that was your doing, there is no refund. If we end it for any other reason, we refund what you paid for it.
You can stop using the software at any time. Ending your use does not by itself entitle you to a refund; refunds are covered by the Terms of Sale.
10. No warranty about results
The software is provided as it is described, and we stand behind that description — if it does not do what we said, see the remedies in the Terms of Sale.
We make no promise about trading outcomes, and there is no promise of any kind that the software will make you money or avoid losses. It draws levels and organises information. What you do with that is yours.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data or interruption arising from the software. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
12. Governing law
These Licence Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
