What our tools run on
Everything we build is a NinjaScript add-on for NinjaTrader 8. Before any of it is useful, you need the platform and a source of market data — and both have a free route in. This page is only about that: what you need, what it costs, and where to get it.
NinjaTrader 8
Free to download, and free to keep using for charting and simulation.
NinjaTrader is the platform our indicators are written for. Downloading it and using it for charting, simulated trading and strategy development costs nothing, and that is enough to follow everything published on this site.
What the free download includes

Our tools are indicators. They draw on the chart and read market data; they place no orders and they make no decisions. What you do with what they show stays with you.
Kinetick
A chart is only as good as the data behind it.
Kinetick provides free end-of-day market data directly through the NinjaTrader platform. That is enough to study structure, practise reading a session and work through the material on this site at your own pace.
Reading order flow as it happens is a different matter: the tape, the order book and anything built on them need real-time data, which Kinetick also provides. Their terms and exchange fees are theirs to state, and they are on their own site.

Get the platform
Download NinjaTrader and open a chart. Nothing to pay at this point.

Get data
Free end-of-day data is enough to begin. Real-time comes in when you need to read flow as it happens.

Learn to read it
The education path starts at the first contract and goes to the tape. It is open to anyone and costs nothing.

Add a tool, if it helps
Nothing here needs to be bought to be useful. The platform is free, the data has a free tier, and the written material is open to anyone.
